Reviews

Finkenerg is located very near to Mayrhofen and therefore it is also connected to the same skiing area like Mayrhofen. This village is a good place to live to get away from the crowded Mayrhofen. It is pretty calm so I would recommend families to live there. The skiing area is very special. You have all kind of different levels for skiing. You even will find there the steepest prepared slope of Austria. The snowpark is very famous, good shaped and with many possibilities. For freeriding you will find a lot of space especially under the 150 Tux lift. Really very good steep runs and most of the time you have very good snow conditions. The slopes are well prepared only sometimes on the black slopes you will find some moguls. Also this skiing area was elected to one of the best of the world. Although there are many people they are well distributed over the whole area so you normally do not have to wait long for getting up with the lift. Only the Finkenberger night life is a little bit poor. There are some après ski bars but after 8 o clock those are normally empty but in a few minutes you are at Mayrhofen where you can party all night. So if you want to live calm but also to have the possibilities to make party Fikenberg is the perfect place.
