great village life , would not go anywhere else if the snow was guaranteed

Great all rounder resort, great transfer times, great range of accommodation and services to choose from.
just love morzine. so much so we are returning this year. 2 resorts in one. something for everyone. lovely traditional resort as well. highs were skiing back from avoriaz in late afternoon sunsets and lunches high on swiss border with the most spectacular views. we are good intermediate skiiers with 2 young boys and we didnt tire of the variety and challenge. the only thing is, check forecasts if booking early season. its not the highest resort and although avoriaz is snow sure, the lower pleney slopes may not be. also, we went xmas week and had to walk to the lifts for the first few days because the buses hadnt started operating.
one other tip - you have to get lift back from avoriaz into morzine at the end of the day. make sure you get there before it closes!

Been going to morzine now for nearly 20 years and still love it , have skied many other areas and countries but still keep coming back , there is skiing for all abilities and the town has a lovely feel , v traditional even with so many brits , bit pricy but all ski resorts are , always best to head there mid to late jan as resort low and has a tendency to struggle with snow early season

Pretty town. Nice bars and restaurants, Great summer base. But for winter sports its time is past. Too low. Never enough snow and when it does snow the few runs into the resort are skid off in no time. Not even good as a base as you have to ski back there at the end of the day in crowds and muddy/worn runs. Difficult to get across from one side to the other if travelling from Avoriaz side to Les Gets side. Either need to take a bus or walk quarter of a mile in ski boots - there is a road train but laughably it closes for 2 hours in the middle of the day! (only in France!!). Blame global warming but as a ski resort Morzine is finished.

Great resort, large ski area. Easy access from Geneva airport. Fantastic.

Fantastic skiing over a wide area. If there is a lot of snow, make sure you get to Les gets.

Ski on and on and on.
Always good, especially Dixies bar that sells Desperado's on draft.
Been to Whistler and still think this is better.
