Sankt Johann - Alpendorf is known as the first step into "Salzburg's Sportwelt" in the midst of Austria's largest ski area, the "ski amadè". 860 km of excellent ski pistes to look forward to, more than 270 lifts, gondola and chairlifts with just one ski-pass. A variety of downhill runs and an illuminated toboggan run leads down into the resort.Sankt Johann's leisure facilities are often within walking distance. In the vicintity of the majority the accomodations are stops for the ski-shuttle which takes you free of charge to the access points.
