I spent the season 2013/14 living and working in this beautiful village. The ski area is fantastic with a wide variety of slopes to suit all skill levels, with the Grand Cry for the little ones, and Mont Chery for the more accomplished skier. The village itself is a beautiful, traditional French village. Make sure you bring your phrase book as the locals are still very French. If you're looking for a more English experience, head to Bar Bush, Bombay Ski Club or Le Boomerang. If you're looking for a night out, Igloo or Zebra are the two clubs in the village, but drinks are expensive so plan ahead.
For a more family approach, there are some great family friendly restaurants serving French cuisine, such as Le Tyrol, and plenty of activities to keep them busy during the day too.
As you can tell, I absolutely fell in love with this resort and it became a home from home for me, I hope it gives you the same experience!
