Greg Hutton-Squire

Fantastic! Spent a week here in Feb 17 and am going back for more this year - I hadn't skied for 15yrs so was apprehensive as I left the chair lift but Aussois' slopes are well managed, clear and easy to use with delightful variety on which to remember, learn and gain confidence. A booked one-on-two lesson was delayed due to low visibility and by the time we had it I was quite literally "back up to speed" though it was still hugely beneficial and I learnt great technique from the professional and charming ski instructor. There are enough red slopes for an intermediate skier though some of my advanced friends did want a bit more after 4 days. Overall we cannot recommend the place enough, friendly people, lovely upper slope restaurants, great village with super ski hire shops. Am taking the family this year, can't wait to be back.
