The Mercantour massif straddles the french departments of the Alpes-Maritimes and the Alpes de Haute-Provence and the italian Piedmont. It is famous for its National Park.It includes the ski resorts of Valberg, Beuil les Launes, Auron and Isola 2000.Conditions are there generally very snowy and sunny. Also note the proximity to the French Riviera (1h30 by car) that can allow to marry snow and sea.
