Resort always has snow. Good runs. Plenty of mountain cafes and restaurants. Nice quiet village. Friendly people.
I have been skiing here since 1970 and have always been satisfied.

I love this resort. It's a little at the 'end of the track' but that's what makes it great. Sunny Valley pretty much guarantees snow but there are only two runs. The Hotel / Bar is great as are a number of small bars on the slopes. Off piste is limited but what's there can be great fun.
Don't expect nightclubs and drunken evenings. Do expect quiet, nice locals and nice food and you won't be disappointed.
There is a wellness centre and even snowcat lifts up to Sunny Valley for Dinner

We have been coming here most years for the last fourteen. We stay at the Hotel Nordik, which is excellent value, even when I used to teach and had to come in half term. It is our best kept secret. Always excellent snow due to it's high altitude and everyone in the village is so friendly. We love coming here to ski, whether it up at Sun Valley or on the lower slopes, the catering and skiing is eccellent. But if you like the boozy apres ski this is not the place for you. Excellent for families, having a quiet beer or enjoying a bottle of wine at your hotel. We love it!
