Although the mountains of Lazio receive less snow than nearby Abruzzo, this region boasts some interesting tourist resorts with lifts, usually well attended by the inhabitants of Rome during winter weekend escape from the city to relax on the snowy peaks of the Apennines. The same province of Rome boasts a location: it is Mount Livata with No. 3 lifts, but currently without a system of artificial snow. Certainly the adjacent province of Rieti offers more than one alternative, the Monte Terminillo to become actor of a skiing holiday Latium: 25km of pistes, of which over half is guaranteed snow, 7 lifts and trails for Nordic skiing total 15 km. Not far to Lioness the skiresor of Campo Stella, while in the inner position of the province of Rieti you can reach the Selvarotonda Cittareale slopes. Complete the regional landscape, the three towns in the province of Frosinone, namely Campocatino, Field Staff and Prati di Mezzo.
