Total (3.6)
A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
During peak season, on December 22nd and 23rd, we booked a night at the Segneshütte mountain hut to enjoy two days of skiing. Huge praise to the Segneshütte staff – it's truly admirable that they managed to keep spirits high under these conditions!
Ski area:
- Nominally, 45 of 216 km of slopes were open – Price? Unchanged – CHF 235 for two children and one adult.
- Many of these kilometers are on the two valley runs to Laax and Flims – approximately 20 km of slopes on the mountain – you can imagine the crowds and the quality of the slopes.
- Access to the Segneshütte? Despite the snow cover, it wasn't provided – you stay overnight in the ski area at 2100 m, but you need the lift to get there!
- The slopes are open at Vorab – yes – but access from the Segneshütte? Gondola to Nagens - valley run to Flims - ascent to Plaun via Arenaexpress - ascent to Galaxy - ascent to Grap Masegn - gondola rides to Fuorcla - gondola ride to Vorab valley station - have fun; a half-day program :-)
-and the sheer audacity: after Christmas, without any fresh snow, the Sogn Martin - Siala lift will be opened as if by magic - providing access to the fantastic slopes and at least to Vorab with a single gondola ride from Mutta rotunda - thank you for discrediting those who avoid peak days and contribute to more consistent occupancy. That's all from us!

A ski resort primarily for people who want to eat and drink. Unfortunately, it's overcrowded, and at €116 per day, the prices are completely outrageous.
You practically have to book restaurants weeks in advance.
Overall, this ski resort is geared towards city dwellers, older people, and park snowboarders.

Great ski area with long slopes, short waiting times, always worth a trip!

Only blue connecting slopes – you drive for two minutes to get to the next free gondola. A whole day of riding – 5 descents.
The worst resort I've ever been to – expensive, crowded, slow, no rides.
Ischgl is much better. I don't know where the rave reviews for this resort come from.
Never again. It's a waste of money.

Handy und Sonnenbrille verloren. Habe beides wieder erhalten! Das Personal ist super organisiert und super freundlich!
Talabfahrt selbst bei wenig Schnee offen und gut machbar!
Die App ist toll und könnte noch im die Kategorie lost and found ausgebaut werden ;-).
Sehr gerne wieder!

Leider musste ich Corona-bedingt vorzeitig abreisen. Der Service des Laax Guest Care Team war vorbildlich, sehr freundlich und unkompliziert!. Ein dickes Dankeschön besonders an Fabienne und Martina!!
