The ski area Ankogel lies in the heart of the Hohe Tauern national park on the border of Kärnten to Salzburg. The top station on 2636 m can be reached through the Ankogelbahn or the Ankogellifte. The slopes are mostly suitable for intermediate skiers but the ski area can offer slopes for all difficulties. The Köfele Lifte, right at the base station, are ideal for beginners and children.
