Numerous well-prepared slopes for all levels of difficulty characterise the region Berchtesgadener Land. On an altitude between 600 m and 1874 m, the ski areas Götschen, Hochschwarzeck, Jenner, Rossfeld Oberau and Obersalzberg offer a variety of winter sports activities. Snowboarders for example find perfect conditions near the Götschen in Bischofswiesen, complete with half-pipe, stereo and flood-lighting. National and international competitions take place here in the Regionalzentrum für Ski Alpin and Snowboard. Families will love the easy and very well-groomed slopes in the ski area Hochschwarzeck in Ramsau. Next to several slopes, the ski area offers one toboggan run. There is also a spacious net of cross-country ski runs available in the Berchtesgadener Land.
