Please note Roldal snow reports are sourced directly from the ski resort and are only recorded during the official ski season's opening to closing dates.
Røldal is situated between Bergen and Stavanger, and is known to be extremely snow-secure. The resort offers green pistes, as well as challenging off-piste skiing in a steep rocky terrain. The chair-lift transports everyone to the top of the ski area. There is also a beginners' lift with a heated cabin close by for eating or taking a break, making it perfect for beginners and families and beginners. There are 3 additional surface lifts for the more experienced skiers. The upper lift takes you to an altitude of 1284m, and offers a spectacular view of the Røldal Lake and the nearby mountain ranges.
