Delightful hidden gem in Begenz forest, very picture postcard, has reputation of being "snowiest village in Europe" due to its position and winds. Execcent safe skiing for beginners and skilled, some good pistes. A quite unspoiled place full of beautiful forests.

One of my fav skiing areas with great off-piste opportunities, especially in February. But also slopes for all levels, from beginner to expert. Have been here every year for the last 15 years and still able to find some hidden spots. Medium sized skiing area with a few apres ski possibilities, but not so busy compared to other large areas in Austria. Great overall value, especially for students, as they get a discount for season passes. Very warm and welcoming people - always feels like coming home. All in all perfect, if you look for a unique skiing experience!
