In Valmalenco skiers can appreciate more than 60 km of pistes. A modern and big cable car, the "Snow Eagle" lifts tourists up to 2080 m of highness from Chiesa, while a smaller chair lift brings them up from San Giuseppe to the Alpe Palù. The ski station of Caspoggio on the other side, offers easy pistes for beginners and families, as technical circuits for athlets and ski champions. Snow is usually abundant in the valley from December till late April but in case of need, a modern snowmaking equipment is always ready to work in order to assure the opening of the ski resort. Sunbathing and tasty dishes in one of the numerous mountain dews, modern and well equipped leisure centres as well as long and relaxing walks in a fairy environment, complete the special offer of Valmalenco. For children there is a new playground on the snow ,while for snowboarders the modern Palù snow park.
