A hidden gem sandwiched between the huge ski areas of Verbier, Crans & Zermatt. Grimentz is a small village but the Grimentz-Zinal ski areas are linked by the huge cable car whisking you directly up to the ski area on both sides of the valley.
If you have young children, it is worth knowing that the crèche is located at the top of the Grimentz bubble lift so that you can all go up the mountain together & lunchtime collection is easy.
Long toboggan run is always a family favourite.

Recently discovered this resort and it is now my favourite in the area. The lift ticket passes were priced well. The pistes were not too crowded, and there is something to suit every level of skiing. They also have a nice park for jumps etc.
Grimentz is the perfect location for a skiing short break with great pistes and a big vertical off piste. Though a small ski area by many standards the Val d'Anniviers has some 220k of varied skiing.
