Very good glacier skiing, good for fall skiing.
Very beautiful landscape where the Kaunertaler glacier is situated in. On the way to the Kaunertal you won´t get bored because there are very incredible mountains to watch. There are some good opportunities for to go touring. Especially at the end of the season you can still go for a tour when everywhere else the snow has already gone.
The skiing area itself is not very special because it is very flat, but for families and beginners I am sure it is a good choice.
But also in the Kaunertal they have a good funpark. Which is still opened when in the most areas season has already ended. I can´t say much to après ski possibilities but direct in the ski area is not much ongoing but outside of the valley there are some places to go. If you stay near the Kaunertal you have the opportunity to go to different areas which are very near like Serfaus and Nauders.
