Liechtenstein, the small alpine country situated between Austria and Switzerland, offers good skiing conditions. From the top station in the ski resort of Malbun, on an altitude of 2000 metres, several gentle slopes lead down to the small village and the Sareis chairlift. The cross-country ski area of Steg impresses with beautiful alpine scenery. Skiing holidays in Liechtenstein are recommendable for families as the winter sports area is tailored to their specific needs. For beginners there are enough easy slopes to practise on, though the majority of Liechtenstein’s ski slopes are especially suitable for intermediates. At the Hochegg experts will find some steeper runs, too.For snowboarders there is a special slope and a fun park with a variety of obstacles. Cross-country skiers can choose between classic and skating style and also ski on a night course. For sledging there is natural run from Stücka to Steg and another toboggan run form Turna to Malbun.
