A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
A great little resort. you often see people heading across from Campiglio on the lift to enjoy the quieter, tree lined slopes. The town is lovely with an excellent supermarket and local shops. Ski hire was easy too. I have been twice and look forward to next time.

A charming place with stunning view on the Dolomites. Slopes are very well kept and from easy to challenging.
A great place to be.

Pinzolo is a great village, the people are really friendly and there's not the usual 'tourist' feel in the bars and restaurants. The local ski area is a really good size if you're not too demanding a skier, there's anough easy and intermediate stuff to keep you entertained for most of a week, and then one day or two each week it's worth a visit to Madonna di Campiglio which is included on the lift pass.
Madonna has a big area of about 100 miles of runs and I just cruised on and on on long fast reds winding down through the trees. The food in the mountain huts was great and the atmosphere was so relaxes a lot of people just stopped skiing by lunchtime and sat on the terrace getting some rays all afternoon instead.
