Michael

Abries is a lovely little picturesque alpine village, and an ideal small resort, if you don't care about having a big selection of shops, restaurants and touristy things. I've been going for many years, and love the atmosphere and the mountain. Very spacious runs (pistes) with nice views and few crowds. Great place for families and children learning to ski, but also a surprisingly good selection of other pistes (given its size and cheap ticket price), including an interesting long run down the back side of the mountain to Valpreveyre with shuttle bus to bring you back around. Off-piste skiing can also be excellent if snow conditions are good! Highly recommended! :)
