After only ever skiing in europe I was looking forward to a family break in Aviemore in Jan 2022, to say I was a little disappointed is an understatement, after snowfall the day before we landed all was looking good until we got there. 1st day we attempted to drive up and see the setup but was unable due to road closure, OK a little sledging and keeping the kids occupied. 2nd day found we couldn't get lift passes (sold out for the rest of holiday) drove up to see what the ski centre offered to be hugely disappointed, 1 button lift in use only with only the beginner slopes accesible by lift which was quite laughable. To sum up the Aviemore experience, lovely place with great weather and a resort which could be great, if you want to go skiing don't bother wasting your time and go to Europe!
