I visited Macugnaga in March 08 for the first time, although it was late in the season we had a fantastic time. The resort is quiet but very family friendly. The food was as you would expect in italy (fantastic) The people wher very helpfull. To be honest it was quiet at night, not much going on but if you enjoy the skiing and aint too fussed about partying then this is the place. 10 of us just booked to go to Macugnaga again in February 10 and we are looking forward to a relaxing skiing holiday with good food, good company, and as always we'll make our own fun.
the last 2 years i have been to macugnaga and i pesonally loved it. it was the 1st time i,d been snowboarding in 2006 and i thought it was the perfect place. the people are very friendly and they even remembered us off the year before.(they had pictures on their p.c.) there,s plenty of nice places to eat,(if you after a taste of home and fancy a cheeseburger go to dennis's). there,s a rail park and a snow park if you,re a bit daring than me.(i stay on the belvedere). paul and michelle organise trips if you are interested, cotact www.thechaos.co.uk
