Overview

The Bavarian ski resort Unterammergau on an altitude of 850 m to 1000 m encompasses the manageable ski area Steckenberg. The ski area has some kilometres of easy pistes and the free ride area Pürschling. And if you should not feel like skiing during your winter vacation you can also hike along the Pulvermoosweg trail in Unterammergau along the Ammer to the neighbouring Oberammergau. Furthermore, you can also go cross-country skiing on the Scherenauer loop road. Or you have fun on the Pürschling toboggan run. It takes about two hours to reach the starting point of the run but the way down is 5.5 km long and beautiful.
