A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
A fantastic little resort for the family, perfect for a couple of days away from Portes du soleil and Grand Massif. Cheap lift pass prices, easy access and by far the best views over the Alps and Mont Blanc. Some very nice restaurants catering for all tastes and cheaper than the big resorts. Quiet slopes and no lift queues.

A great choice. Only fifteen minutes from Les Gets, but very French . Has great pistes and good off piste which is not skied out quickly. Much preferred to the overcrowded overpriced Portes du Soleil and Grand Massif

Great resort for all levels
Probably the best value for number of slopes for all levels / price in Haute Savoie
A secret ski paradise of two villages within minutes of the Grand Massif on one side and Les Gets-Morzine on the other. But seemingly the exclusive preserve of local French families? Beautiful trails through soaring pines and varied open winter landscapes all unfold over the 60km of downhill at all levels. Praz de Lys has the sort of pillowy snow topped chalets that are a thought to exist in dreams - some old, some new - dotted amongst rolling sea of snow and pine - Narnia for familys.
There is a distinct lack of abrasive shouts from Londoners, high on their yearly release from dreary offices. And gone are the hectic lift queues and the M25 bottlenecks of Samoens/Morillon.
Hire your own chalet with your family or close friends, and ignore the plastic distractions in the commercial resorts. A days skiing here is under 20€
This is a small resort 10/15 minutes drive to Lest Gets and 20 minutes to Morrilon (grand massif) skied a full day here after skiing the other 2 areas and l loved it ...a combination of open skiing and tree line trails and sunshine...It would suit all beginners and intermediates and the lift pass was €100 for the week
