A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
our first trip to a clubmed destination as a family. from the friendly welcome. great sevice from Outam at the bar to Thomas at the swimming pool, we felt at home. the ski instructors, Didier, Remi, were unbelievably patient, supportive, professional and great fun. the accomodation and food were both of a high standard. PV will see us again hopefully soon! we are hooked on skiiing and the logistics worked perfect. thank you team PV.

this place is an awesome ski resort for all levels of skiers. It has beautiful views and a huge open section. If you are going to ski somewhere ski here :-) :-)

I visited this resort as part of a longer stay in the Paradiski region and I liked iut the most from my visits to bigger La plagne and lesa arcs on either side too. It's maybe not the best choice for party animals (see the afore mentioned for more choice) but it was great for me and mny family to chill out in and spend the night in the locaL bar.
The resort is actually maade up of half a dozen different villages or hanmlets a few kilometres apart, and most of them, including ours, wasn't connected by ski lifts or ski runs to Les arcs and poaradiski so if that matters to you, make sure you get the right location (the upper village is right up at the Vanoise Express station on the Les Arcs side.
Otherwise it is in a great position for skiing either Les Arcs or, with the Vanoise Express/Paradiski pass (Note: one of europe's most expensive lift tickets), La Plagne too. We took a day in the Nordic paark and tried biathlon, with was a great experience and highly recommended.
Spent half term (Feb 9th 2008) in a self catering chalet in la villaret just outside Peisey. Fantastic place for family ski-ing. In the local village were free 'lobster pots' to take you up to the main resort. The runs are so well sign posted and so many directions to go in. The belvedere run and la foret are fantastic. Loved the ski-ing in Les Arcs.
Not a single snow flake all week however the pistes were so well groomed and with snow cannons it did not matter.
Vanoise lift not open this year but did not matter as did not manage all the runs in les arcs/peisey.
We were a group of 14 aged between 8 and 69 and from beginner to expert and there were enough runs here to suit everyone.
Cannot wait to go again next year.
