very,very nice and friendly
For the last 2 years we have skied in Manigod. This is a great place for those that are starting out. We drove down from the Eurotunnel with great ease and stayed in a fantastic chalet half way up the mountain (frenchalpschalets.com) we would drive up to the resort each day. the children have had ski lessons with the ESF ski school on both occasions.
You can ski Croix Fry and Merdassier and also cross over to La Clusaz.
This is a great way of affordable skiing for a family.
