Although I am not an alpine skier, I do use the ski de fond frequently with raquettes. There are around 28 kms of pistes offering stunning scenery and tranquillity. The little Buvette is a great place to stop off for a tea or coffee and also offers a light lunch and crepes.
This is a resort built around the family ski holiday where youngsters can be left to get on with their lessons or be taught by parents. If you want hard core down hills then you should go elsewhere. All the lifts are buttons, which can be hard on the feet. The pisteurs are always there to help beginners get on the lifts. When you've had enough skiing the husband/wife team running the cafe will serve vin chaud, chocolat chaud, burgers, beer and/or menu du jour.
