Very foggy yesterday but fresh layer of snow nicely covered hardened base, conditions excellent on all blue pistes/red pistes.

Sunday 12th. Lovely conditions today. Very cold and windy 1st thing until the sun gets over the mountain and then it was bluebirdall day. Last weeks snow falls have freshened everything up nicely. Snowing for almost all of the day - good powder on untracked sections - quite icy in areas experiencing a lot of traffic (busy here other Chamonix runs on wind hold)

As of 29 Jan the upper elevation pistes are in decent shape a bit icy in morning. lower elevation pistes wet heavy snow. the headline still says “powder” which is wrong.
