We managed to get over to the Doucy / Valmorel ski area whilst on holiday in La Rosiere. We headed over as the weather in La Rosiere was fairly bad all week and we craved a bit of sun! Have to say, we were blown away with what this slightly smaller area had to offer. Loved the genuine little French villages of Doucy and town of Valmorel. The people we met in the two days we were there were lovely and the skiing was amazing! Set within a large bowl with access to more over the back of the mountain, there was so much room to play about on the skis and it felt like we just brushed the surface! Will definitely be booking in for a full week in the season coming!!
