Inside Scoop

Reviews

I am a US citizen who lived in Switzerland for a few years and skiied just about every place....gargantuan or tiny. Elm is a small old-school throwback hill....not a resort in any sense of the word. No amenities, minimal services>>that said, if they have good coverage, there is more than enough slope for ALL skiers for a great day; green, blue, black, double black and off-piste through a truly typical Swiss Mt. environment {i.e., the hill serves as a pasture for cows and hiking for humans in the summer, so there are signposts, benchs, water troughs, small barns, huts for the local yokels to hang out in, summer farmer gondolas, woodpiles, stumps and all kinds of fun obstacles!} And the best factor is that unless it is a local Swiss holiday, the mountain will be empty.
