Skied in La Thuile for a while now, hopefully anyone reading this will do as most do and not come and see the place, sshh, it's the quietest ski hill in the Alps. It's not a hill for beginners but once you have your snow plow legs the quality of the snow and the link to France make this a gem. There is lots of touring and access to bowls full of Pow of the lifts. Never trust the snow reports either we have skied here 14th thru 22nd December. It has snow everyday, at least 15cm on the 19th but it never even registered!! Also with a 6 day pass you can visit any of the other Aosta Valley resorts including Cervinia using the same pass.
