Méribel is located in the extensive 3 Valleys ski area, which is one of the snowiest ski areas in the French Alps. The resort has access to a giant 600km of ski slopes, 80% of which are at the high altitude of 2,000m. This means Méribel guarantees snow-filled fun every winter.

Méribel: Winter sports for everyone 

Thanks to the vast variety of slopes, there’s something for all levels of skier and snowboarder in Méribel. However, the local ski area is particularly well-suited to beginners and families with young children. Around half of the slopes are green or blue, and there are also fun slopes, such as animal-themed or the Inuit trail, making Méribel the perfect place to learn how to ski or snowboard.

What’s new in Méribel this winter?

Méribel continues to innovate, and once again this year, new things are waiting to be discovered. 

New observation deck 

The new 360° panoramic observation deck at the top of Roc de Fer offers one of the best views in the 3 Valleys. Plus, if you have the stomach for it, you can take a photo on a suspended swing, equipped with a high-quality camera to capture unforgettable memories. You can also relax in the sun with picnic tables, hammocks, and cabins. Access is via the Legends and Olympique chairlifts. 

First Tracks 

Get up early and be the first on the slopes. Have the perfectly groomed pistes to yourself and enjoy the peace and quiet. Then, take a break at La Folie Douce for an unforgettable breakfast. And that’s how your day of skiing begins…
